The 6" Prewashed Knitted Lambswool Pad is knitted with 100% lambswool, and is an aggressive buffing pad. Prewashing the pads helps to de-lint the pads prior to first use. The knitting process results in a denser pad with a plush appearance, and the backing is more durable than natural backing material, allowing for more washings.
