The 6” Vented Orbital Backing Plate is a performance upgrade to Griot’s Garage G9 Random Orbital Polisher, delivering enhanced cooling and more flexibility.

The 6” Vented Orbital Backing Plate features vertical and horizontal cooling ports, delivering smoother operation and longer pad life, and better results. The plate features firm yet flexible high-density urethane foam with chamfered edges for flexibility and improved contouring over and around body panels. The plate's centre recess further reduces heat transfer. The Velcro® brand Micro-Hook attachment is optimized to create the perfect balance between strong pad engagement and easy disengagement. Plate also has rotational speed markings to help ensure optimum rotation speed.
